Daniel Bonilla-Vera is a visual artist from The San Joaquin Valley, currently residing in Visalia, California. Daniel’s current work speaks to gender, gender identity and sexuality through a genderqueer lens, often utilizing flowers, drag queens, and the male form. Daniel’s overall work relates to his life experience as an Undocumented, Genderqueer, Person of Color. Daniel is a supporter of alternative art spaces and has participated in guerrilla art fairs and pop-up galleries, along with showing in formal galleries and accredited museum settings as well. He has shown in Los Angeles, Tulare and Fresno counties.
